We need to treat our souls the same way. We continue to take personal inventory because we know how easily we can drift. We have no opinion on outside issues—the world is crazy enough on its own. Our job is to keep our own heart and mind aligned with God.
Inviting God to “test you” is a brave prayer. It means you want truth more than you want comfort. But that truth is what keeps you free.
