The world wants to bring you word of disaster, stress, and fear every morning. The headlines scream for your attention. The emails demand your time. But the Psalmist asks for a different report: “Bring me word of your unfailing love.”
Turning our will over starts with trusting God with our day. It is tuning our radio to His station first thing in the morning. We need to be reminded that we are loved before we are reminded of all the things we have to do. When we are grounded in the fact that we are loved, we can handle whatever the day throws at us.
Our desire to recover draws us to this love. We belong to Him. Let His love be the headline of your day today. Let everything else be on page two.
