Trust and submission

Dear ,
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart… in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.” — Proverbs 3:5–6
Human beings love to be in control. Our “own understanding” tells us that we know what is best for us, when we need it, and how to get it. The problem is that leaning on our own logic is exactly what drove our lives into the ditch in the first place. We are terrible navigators of our own destiny.
Recovery requires a radical shift in management. It requires us to stop leaning on our flawed logic and start trusting the Creator. Submission simply means trusting God enough to let Him drive. When we finally stop wrestling for control of the steering wheel and submit to His direction, He removes the chaotic detours and leads us toward true freedom.

Identify a situation where you are trying to force a specific outcome. Today, consciously loosen your grip and say, “Lord, I submit this to Your understanding, not mine.”

Lord, I submit my plans and trust Your lead. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
Remember, seeking help is a sign of strength, not weakness. You deserve a life free
from addiction
Sincerely,
