 | | | | | “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” — Philippians 4:6–7 | | Imagine a heavy storm howling against the outside of a solid stone fortress. Rain lashes the walls and wind whips through the trees, yet inside by the hearth, the air is warm, calm, and quiet. The storm may rage outside, but it cannot breach the strong walls protecting those resting within. For years, anxiety and fear were the howling storms that drove us back toward self-destruction. Seeking through prayer and meditation to improve our conscious contact with God invites us inside the fortress of His presence through daily prayer and quiet reflection. When we bring our worries, cravings, and uncertainties to Him with a heart of gratitude, we exchange our chaotic energy for His divine calm. His peace acts as a vigilant guard, standing watch over our hearts and minds so we can rest secure, regardless of the chaos around us. |

| Father, receive my prayers and guard my heart with Your peace. Teach me to release my worries into Your hands and rest in Your loving protection. In Jesus' Name, Amen. |
