 | | | | | “And without faith it is impossible to please God… because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.” — Hebrews 11:6 | | Imagine a prospector kneeling beside a cold mountain stream, carefully swirling gravel in a metal pan. They don’t just dip the pan once, give up, and walk away when they don’t instantly see a massive gold bar. They return day after day, intently sifting through sand and mud because they genuinely believe that precious gold is hidden in those waters. Their persistent, earnest seeking is driven by the conviction that their labor will be rewarded. Coming to believe that a Power greater than ourselves can restore us is not a passive, half-hearted gamble. It is an active, daily pursuit of a loving Father. When we come to God with genuine faith seeking Him earnestly through His Word, prayer, and recovery meetings—we aren’t met with disappointment or empty hands. God delights in revealing Himself to honest seekers, rewarding our persistent search with true spiritual restoration and steady peace. |
