Confession and healing

Dear ,
“Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed.” — James 5:16
Secrets are the heavy anchors that keep us stuck in our past. For years, we thought that if we just kept our mistakes, our shame, and our bad habits hidden in the dark, they couldn’t hurt us. But hiding our true selves is exhausting, and it makes us spiritually sick.
While forgiveness is a transaction between us and God, healing happens in community. When we take the terrifying step of confessing our faults to another human being, the secret instantly loses its power. Confession connects us to grace and growth, proving that we are not uniquely broken; we are just human.

Is there a burden you are trying to carry alone? Reach out to your sponsor or a trusted friend today and share it. Let the light in.

Lord, grant me courage to confess and receive healing. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
Remember, seeking help is a sign of strength, not weakness. You deserve a life free
from addiction
Sincerely,
