God near to the broken

Dear ,

“Do not fear, for I am with you… I will strengthen you and help you.” — Isaiah 41:10

Fear is a constant companion in the early stages of recovery. We fear the future, we fear our own cravings, and we fear that we aren’t strong enough to make it. But the promise of God is that we don’t have to be strong enough—because He is with us.

God meets us exactly where we are—in our mess, our fear, and our brokenness. He doesn’t wait for us to get “cleaned up” before He offers His help. He is a Power greater than ourselves who steps into our weakness to provide the strength we simply do not have on our own.

Identify your biggest fear right now. Write it down, then write “God is with me” across it. Choose to trust His presence over your fear today.

Lord, draw near to me in my brokenness today. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Remember, seeking help is a sign of strength, not weakness. You deserve a life free
from addiction

Sincerely,
The RGV Road to Recovery IA Team
